Hi! I’m Cristina, a commercial photographer based in Berlin
My creative talent resides in using the eye and mind
I have been working in the photography industry for over two decades, within a variety of roles ranging from photo editor to art director. Today I balance commercial assignments with my creative work and art prints to continue refining and developing my vision while ever evolving both technically and creatively.
While I recognize technical expertise is essential in photography, I believe the aesthetics must convey an emotion or feeling that stirs something within the viewer and resonates in the soul.

01. Phase
Preproduction
Brief - understanding the brand, the audience, and the product.
Mood Board - defining the look and feel.
We are defining deliverables and working out a shot list.
Budgeting in accordance with the scope and means.
Art Buying - putting together the dream team.
Tech Prep - we need light.
Location Scouting and Recce - so there are no surprises.
Team Brief - clear communication of knowledge to ensure we are all on the same page.
Production Schedule - time is money; that is a fact.
02. Phase
Production
Orchestrating - coordinating teamwork.
Art Direction on set - feedback, guidance, and final decision-making.
Set Design and Styling - guiding the set stylist in creating the ideal environment.
Lighting - creating the desired atmosphere.
Photography - finding the right angles, perspectives, and composition.
Digital Operation - ensuring all files are backed up safely and sound.
Schedule Overview - keeping an eye we are on track.
Client Involvement - ensuring that expectations are met or managed.
03. Phase
Postproduction
Previews and selection process with the client.
Retouch - cleaning, exposure, adjusting perspective, white balance, and color grading.
Feedback Rounds - changes in accordance with the client's feedback.
Invoices - managing invoices and payment of the production team.

Cristina's work has been featured throughout the pages of A Le Carte, Das Magazine Bayern, Top magazine BERLIN, and more. She is currently working on her first coffee table book, and her Kitchen Photo studio was recently featured in Berlin, Germany, by Peerspace.
ARTISTIC CAREER | In her art career, she has hosted solo and group exhibitions since 2004 and has been commissioned for several projects and art installations. Her work can be found in restaurants, boutiques, and private collectors' homes.
