Mighty Highlights

At Shotwithsoul we specialise in food and product video/photography.

Our studio is equipped and prepared to receive any type of production related to the food market, with a functional kitchen, specialised professionals and all the necessary equipment for the production of video and photography.

Location

Our Studio is located in Germany's capital city, directly beside Brandenburg´s Gate in Berlin's heart of government district.

The name LUX, borrowed from the Latin word lūx meaning “light” refers to the building name and, ultimately, to the loft itself that, thanks to its large panoramic windows, allow to have all rooms to be bright and day-lit.

The Space

The entire studio is barrier-free and can be used and individually adapted for different set-ups thanks to the flexible and open floor plan.

Its layout offers three different environments in one space: The Kitchen area with its island, the shooting/production area with a variety of backgrounds to mount on the wall or lay on portable tables, and a design dining area that allows overhead lifestyle shots.

The Kitchen

Our well-rounded kitchen island has been featured in a few productions. Both functional with all major kitchen appliances and aesthetically pleasing facing a modern concrete wall, the well-rounded kitchen island design also allows food production to be perfectly realised and allows recordings from a wide variety of perspectives.

Meeting Location

Want to give a workshop or training all day long, including lunch? This is also possible. We host 1:1 coaching sessions, workshops and seminars.

When you are looking for a stylish meeting room in Berlin Mitte, our Studio can accommodate up to 15 people.

Crew On-Site

Need an extra set of hands? Our crew members are the perfect all-rounders to assist you with bump in and out, lighting and prop set up, dressing and assisting models and stylists, time tracking, tidying and styling the set between shots, BTS, coffee/food runs, catering and more.

If you require a studio assistant to set up lighting or props, please let us know at least 24 hours prior so we are able to have a crew member available onsite.

Equipment

Our studio has state-of-the-art equipment, including high-end cameras, Profoto lighting gear, and editing software. This enables us to produce top-quality content that meets the highest industry standards.

We offer our equipment on rental to our clients and productions that rent our studio.

Props Collection

From plates, cutleries or silverware, napkins, glassware, and background surfaces, in our productions, we use props to create a scene, support a visual concept or message, or add to the overall mood of a photograph.

Stunning Backdrops

We use quality. That is why our backdrops for food and product photography have a waterproof matte coating. The backdrop that you choose is the backbone of your food scene.

Great things are built on a solid foundation, and your food images are no different. In the studio we have a variety of backdrops on rental for you to choose and convey the story you want us to capture.

Our Atelier Studio

We have recently moved to a new location, an incredible industrial loft full of light located in the center of Berlin, Tiergarten, that allows me to host bigger editorial projects.

However, I can travel for projects and do so quite frequently for photo and video productions to our client's locations. Ask for travel fees outside Berlin's Mitte.
